Our Passion, Our Story
We are Kenny Nieuwendijk and Sabrina Brants, the people behind EGPAC.
Our love for animals, especially rescue dogs, is what brought us to where we are today. Over the years, we have seen the heartbreaking reality faced by many abandoned and neglected dogs, particularly in Spain. What started as a desire to help quickly became a commitment to do more.
We founded EGPAC because we believe that every animal deserves kindness, respect, and the chance to live a happy life. We wanted to create a platform where people could learn about the challenges these animals face, support rescue efforts, and become part of the solution.
For us, EGPAC is more than an organization. It is a project built from the heart. We work closely with dedicated rescuers and shelters, support animals in need whenever we can, and strive to make a real difference, one step at a time.

Our dream and our goals
With Egpac, we want to continue supporting our partner shelter, providing a safe haven for galgos and podencos in need. It is our greatest dream that hunting dogs in Spain will one day receive the protection they deserve. We fight for a future where no galgo or podenco is ever abused or killed again, and where they all find a loving home.

The team behind Egpac
Behind the European Galgo & Podenco Advocacy Council are the two of us, Kenny Nieuwendijk (founder) and Sabrina Brants. Together, we divide the tasks and work tirelessly on our mission. Although we don't have a large team, we join forces to make the greatest possible impact.
In addition, there is Marta Branâ, the inspiring founder of Rgsa. She still runs the shelter and is a crucial link in our joint efforts to rescue and rehome the dogs.
Meet our our pack.
Behind EGPAC stands a very special family of rescued dogs. β€οΈ Each of them has their own unique story, personality, and journey. Together, they remind us every single day why we fight for the welfare and protection of dogs across Europe. ππβ¨

π Terry (11 years old)
Terry is our beautiful brindle Galgo and the gentle giant of the family. π₯°πΎ
